I'm a bit of a n00b on here and I'm trying to understand my wheel options with a '49 3800 DRW.
I really like the Dexstars referenced earlier in the thread, but obviously that wouldn't be the optimal choice, unless they can just go on the rear as a single. I'm not even sure if I want to keep the DRW.
It looks like 19.5" bread van wheels were the hot ticket for a while, but it looks like availability isn't what it once was. Were these used because of availability and looks or was the diameter important? Is there another common size dual that would work?
I will not be hauling anything heavy, I just want more tire choices and possibly more modern construction.
