3rd, you're welding/making fire. Plan on things burning and catching on fire, then be prepared. Have a fire extinguisher in the room, know where it is, and how to use it. Hope that you never have to.
And 4th, I always keep a small squirt bottle of water near where I weld. Works great for putting out small flames.
