So I was on my way to the landfill with a load of hedge clippings when I made a detour past the Big Power Meet here in Lidköping and turned into the grounds. It was yesterday Thursday so there were only about 15 000 cars arrived, but among the many visitors from distant parts I met a fellow 'bolter! Helmut has driven about 1,600 km (1,000 miles) to get here on the Autobahn in a pretty much stock 55, the AD model. Here are some pix:

Later we both continued on to the landfill, and then the strawberry patch, and then I was able to share Mexican leftovers. So we'e good buddies now. The Power Meet continues through the weekend so maybe I'll post some more pictures.
