. . . Those side vents don't seem to move all that much air to begin with.
They "move" enough air (allow enough air flow) that I still miss it - my first A-D was a '48 panel, with left-side vent. It cooled my legs and lower body in warm/humid VA. My 54 Suburban was less comfortable for my lower body. The '48 gave my legs cross-flow ventilation (hood scoop and left side scoop).
