| | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 100 Member | | Member Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 100 | I was a little optimistic four years ago and bought a rubber windshield gasket. I took it out of storage and put it on just last month, but it doesn't reach into the windshield corners on the cab. A local guy says the glass will stretch the rubber into the corners. Is he right? If it does stretch to fit, I'm not sure it will make a water-tight seal.
Is a new gasket the only fix or is my old one ok?
Never start vast projects with half vast ideas.
