Thanks tclederman. At first I thought the same thing, but then the rust preventer only changes the rust (using phosphoric acid)and leaves the metal treated. I'm just not sure if this will be suitable to have underneath the self etch primer... I'm thinking that the primer will "eat" into the rust converter and grab into the metal, but the wing nut at the paint store was "like unsure about that dude"...
