Read your other post on this question but your punctuation was such that I couldn't upstand what you were asking.
Take sender wire off back of gauge. Use a piece of wire (I prefer alligator leads). Ground the gauge sender post, turn ignition switch to run. Needle will go empty or full. Turn ignition switch off. Remove wire from sender post. Leave all wires off sender post. Turn ignition switch to run. Needle will move to other end of gauge.
That checks gauge for operation. Check back in if you need further help. Good luck.
