| | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | The float level measurement is 1 9/32 in. With the air horn upside down & the gasket in place measure from the gasket surface to the bottom of the float.
There is a hole in the bottom of the carb base . Make sure there is a passage in the gasket to allow that hole acsess to the interior of the intake manifold.
If that is blocked the carb will run rich.
