Dear Stovebolt, I have a GM Rochester carburetor on my 1950 235 engine and it runs way too rich. The manual gives a measurement to adjust float drop but only shows a paper or sheet metal gauge to adjust the float level itself. Would anyone know where I could get one of those. or trace one or find a dimension to be able to adjust the float?
Also I haven't been able to find a paper air filter to replace the original mesh in the stock air filter. It measures 8" O.D., 6 1/2" I.D. and 1 1/2" high. Any ideas?
Thanks a lot for all the forthcoming help and advice offered in the past. Yours, DaveB4
