As long as your pump can put out at least a pint of fuel into a catch container in 30 seconds, you have plenty of volume to run the engine. Extra pressure just increases the danger of flooding and fire. Be sure the pump circuit is wired through an oil pressure sensing switch to keep it from filling the crankcase with gasoline in case of a stall.
