My engine temp gauge is not working and while trouble shooting, I can find no mention of an electrical temp sensor, but my system is. I have a sending unit at the back of the engine in the block (235) with an electrical connection that runs into a wire harness at the firewall. At the back of the panel, 2 wires exit the same harness ( I guess one from the sensor, and one from the ignition switch?) that connect into the back of the temp gauge. All the literature I can find only talks about a tube that connects from the engine to the gauge to indicate temperature. Anybody with any information on this setup?
