I have been painting motorcycles on and off for years. I used an Amerflint paint once back in the early 80's on my bike. I used a little less hardener than they specified because of cracking problems they were having. The paint came out perfect. The only problem (?) was that years later when I decided to change colors I took the frame, tanks and fenders to the sand blasters to be cleaned. When I came to pick it up the paint was barely dulled! The blasted was puzzled over what kind of paint I had used and it ended up costing me three times as much to have him blast the paint off! They did not sell that paint local anymore and I have been disappointed in a good, non scratchable paint ever since. I don't think I ever needed to do anything but wash it to make it shine like all get up, and it did not have a clear coat on it. I have seen in on line but it is not cheap but I have never seen a paint that has the durability and shine this paint has.
