I looking to order an oil pan gasket for my '54 235 truck engine. I keep seeing gaskets listed online for the years of 40-53 and then 55-60. 1954 is not listed? The 40-53 gaskets seem to have cork end pieces as well as cork side pieces. The 55-60 ones have rubber end pieces and cork side pieces. I've had better luck with the rubber ones in the past on other engines. I'm assuming the oil pan shape didn't change through the years. Will the 55-60 gaskets with the rubber end pieces work for my 54?
