Might want to check with your local FD. Some times when a ladder fails it's annual service test they send it to the aluminum scrap recycle bin. If you can convince the FD it will not be used other than on an antique pumper or ladder truck , you might be able to get one. Havent seen any wooden roof ladders but you might be able to find a vintage pompier ladder, they are cooler than a run of a mill roof ladder anyday. Most are out of service unless you live in a third world country.
