DADS50 has got it. No need to remove the Dizzy. Just loosen the clamp screw on the vacuum advance. Pull the cap and locate the wire that the rotor is pointing at.Could be any where. Follow that wire to the plug so you know what place you are in the firing order(if that is confusing, just turn the engine by hand until your rotor points to #1 plug wire. Rotate the dizzy until the grease cup points to the back. Re-tighten the clamp screw. Now the rotor points to the location of the "new #1 location. Pull the wires out of the cap. Put the cap on and reinstall the wires starting at the "new" #1 location. Check the timing. Start and see if the vacuum advance will move now that it can. It moves? Good. It does not? Check for leaking.
