I took a look at a GMC 250 today- - - -one that's literally a "barn find"! It's holding up the barn! An old building is in the process of being repaired, and they're using the bed of the old truck to support the roof trusses while they rebuild the walls. There are jacks, timbers, and a come-along or two anchored to the truck, so it's not going anywhere soon, at least until the rebuilding project is a little more complete.
Nobody was around to ask about it, so I left my name and phone number on a scrap of wood and propped it up on a fender where it will be hard to miss. What year did the switch from turn-down door handles to push buttons happen? This one's got the turn type handles. All the glass appears to be there, and other than a wrinkled right front fender and a little grill damage,. it appears to be in pretty good shape. I hope somebody decides to get in touch with me!
