Ok, so if one were to use a later V8 bellhousing in a 54 series truck...
What clearance issues are there if doing a V8 swap? I know there are issues with the steering box and HEI distributors. What about valve cover, etc... Will the footwell/firewall need trimmed to clear the new bellhousing?
