Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback. I have never installed or seen a new one and wanted to make sure it was normal before putting it together. Sounds like this one is good.
I am not sure how deep the grooves are 52Carl you can easily feel them with your finger for sure. I am going to put it together and move on.
