I've got a bad pack rat problem. Moth balls help a little if placed strategically. It appears to me that things/areas that are greasy and smelly with car chemicals are not as favored by the rats. I had my suburban parked for 5 years,Once or twice a year i sprayed under the hood with WD 40. Minor wire damage there, the frame rails and gas tank area were not sprayed and the damage there was major.
