What I'd like to know is: I know they can spec a size and material to an off shore producer. I know they can "inspect" the rubber from a vendor for size and cross section, but do they take material samples and analyze the rubber compound? Probably they had to admit they are not all USA and are mitigating that with "meets our standards". Good to know your other rubber from another mother is good. All we can do is check members experiences and use vendors that have good refund policies. I'm really think that the rubber compound is not consistent with off shore parts. Hence: good reviews and bad reviews. Good/real rubber WILL last. The degree depends on it's day to day environment.
