Nope- - - -the bushing I'm referring to is right below the centrifugal advance weights, below the breaker plate. It takers a full disassembly of the distributor to inspect it, and the top of the shaft that contacts the bushing. A galled shaft requires replacing the distributor because there's no practical way to build up the shaft and get it smooth again.
