I am uncertain I am understanding the parts description. By splash pan; is that the sheet metal below the radiator or the sheet metal adjacent to the fenders?
When I got my truck these were in a parts pile, so I don't know for certain. When I assembled everything up front to check fit etc before sending parts to the body shop, I guessed. My guess was the valance lower lip served as a support for the splash pan or baffle below the radiator. I also figured the valance lip would deflect wind and debris better than to have the baffle front edge exposed otherwise??? | | |
