I hate to say it, but, if you bring a spare tire your carb will mess up on you. If you bring a spare carb your wheel bearings will fail. Trust me, God has a sense of humor. In other words, it's impossible to be totally prepared for all the things that could go wrong, so bring a few obvious things as you've listed, a cell phone (for 'real' emergencies), and a sense of adventure.
