For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 199 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 199 | I am getting ready to replace the fender closing panels on my 61 and I need to attach the rubber seal to the panels.
The closing panels that are on the truck now have the seal attached with staples through the seal and the panel.
Does anyone know a way to do the job where it will look original?
The new panels and seals have no holes and even if they did I don't have a stapler that would handle that kind of staple.
Suggestions or comments welcome, Thanks, Hobert
