Cletis, so you are saying you got hold of an OEM motor from a 54 Chevy?
I seem to remember that my original vacuum motor worked-it's been a long time since the truck has run since I'm in the middle of a frame/motor swap. If I can't find a suitable replacement, I'm kicking around the idea of getting a 12volt vacuum pump and seeing if I can drive the original vacuum motor with it.
