I have a 1949 chevy coe with a 270 GMC motor which needs over hauling, or replacing. Maybe frist are parts available for the 270? I have a good 292 chevy motor. Will it fit without much modification. Should I think about replacing with a v-8 (350)or something comparable to obtain 60 to 65 mph highway speeds.
