Hoods are tricky, Check the hinges for wear. If they are shot (pins springs etc.) You'll be messin with it for eternity and won't get it right. Just like MartinSR said, you have to rotate the hinge in the opposite direction like if you were trying to "raise" it. I know it sounds crazy but lowering the hinge actually raises the back of the hood in some cases. Once you get it aligned right a drop of motor oil will keep em from binding.
