Hy txpete, jack the axle up to get the wheel and tire off the ground, tighten the spindle nut to remove all clearance in the bearings while spinning the tire and wheel, make sure there is no clearance in the bearings by trying to rock the wheel and tire back and forth by placing your hands on the top and bottom of the wheel and tire. Tighten the bearing up as much as you can with a standard length 1/2" drive ratchet, now turn the ratchet back to back the nut off 180 degrees, now tighten the nut up snug and cotter pin it in that position, hope that helps.
