thanks for the pictures of what the bracket looks like, my truck was built for wwii eg: black out lights, GI light switch flat colour paint and no chrome, R/H drive but it is a civilian cab.
the model numbers are W 4403, 4408, 4409 my truck is a W 4409 with stake sides
and the contract numbers are W-398-QM-12981
