I am pretty sure you are correct. As I mentioned in my last post, I am taking some design liberty, when it comes to the interior. I really like the stainless and chrome, of the pre-Korean War trucks. Had you wanted to, you could have gone to your Chevrolet dealership and purhased all of the deluxe items. Then installed them. Chrome grill, hubcaps and bumpers. Stainless glovebox and the two bars above and below the speaker grill. I know that it probably didn't happen much. After all, these were work trucks. Not something for show. But, that is direction that I am going with my restoration.
