I know that there was very little to no chrome or stailess on the outside or inside of the 53. I figure that theoretically, you could have gone down to the Chevrolet dealership and purchased all of the chrome and stainless that was offered on previous years. I know that probably didn't happen a lot. Because, after all, they were work trucks. Not fancy trucks, like we have now. But, I am going with the chrome and stainless. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
