No problem. The tough part may be characterizing the original pump so you can match it. It didn't have limited power input like you will with an electric motor. It still may have a GPM and pressure rating. You can get something with a lower GPM rating of course, you'll just have to wait longer for the hoist to operate. I'm not usually in a big hurry when dumping something myself, so I wouldn't care personally.
