blu, your pic appears to be correct, assuming the ends of the spring are in the right positions .... your pic shows it in "neutral" [forks aligned] and ready to move the 2/3 fork .... pulling the shifter will move the pawl to the other fork for 1/R - see factory schematic here .... have you tried using it, or are you just trying to imagine what happens?
