1953 1/2 ton truck with basically standard/stock front-end parts?
Do you have the steering stop on the knuckle on each side, held in place with the king-pin lock-pin:
6.009 STOP ?
I have that size LT radial tires on my 54 31xx and they do not rub (original 6.50x16 wheels with 9/16" offset).
