It's probably not that bit of deal, you are normally moving really slow when steering to the far right or left. Take the load off the axle and turn to the far right and left and see if the tires hit, if they do adjust the steering stops, if they don't, the tires are just flexing. Adjusting the steering stops limits the turning radius, so only adjust to clear the springs and no more
