interesting idea, would have to give it some more thought. I guess it depends on what you are hauling, I would rather tie down with straps hooked ones the outer rail so you are not relying on a bolt and that rail to handle the load. Also, if you haul dirt, it would fall through, and if hauling gravel, you might get some stuck in the slots.
