WARNING: this isn't stovebolt related

ok. our family car, a '96 Dodge grand caravan, has splotches in the paint. mainly on the hood, and the roof, i'm thinking due to being exposed to direct sunlight. or something.

anyway, its an eye sore. and it appears to be the clear coat on it.

it looks kinda of blotted, with matte white spots on the paint. about the size of a canteloupe, in several areas.


any ideas how to remedy this?

it's starting to bug my parents.

1969 K20 , with a '67 front clip. fleetside. 292, 3x1 offy, headers. sm465 4spd. getting put back together, almost ready for paint.
doing it all myself.
