I did a "save" after getting my 57, I was going to make it a car carrier, but the wife and father-in-law voted against that. Three years later (2005/06) I did a repaint. I have now driven it 30k miles to and from truck/car shows, and couldn't be happier. Note, I did have a good foundation to work with.
The brush truck I'm restoring now will be a full every nut and bolt restoration. This truck was a full project the day it came home...Tons of rust and not the running...
