I got the 54 3800 started this weekend, I had to feed it gas by pouring in the carb. After some testing I have decided that the fuel pump is not pulling fuel. Im leaning the direction of an electric pump with the low oil pressure shut off. I was just curious what " universal " pumps folks have had good luck with? I do plan to daily drive the truck so reliability is a must.
