As a quick follow-up on my experience with Langdon's small HEI, Tom L. responded to my phone call. He gave me five troubleshooting steps to follow. When those steps did not solve the problem, I sent the HEI to him. He repaired the "reluctor" and returned it to me. So far the engine starts under both hot and cold conditions. We will be giving it some extensive run time in the near future.
