As I recall in my "olden days" hotrodders would customize their cars by having an exhaust cut-off. The cut-off was a lever on the floorboard that allowed the rodder to open a valve on the exhaust system so that the exhaust bypassed the muffler. Loud but at the same time cool. Since I'm going to be re-working my manifold, headers and exhaust sometime soon, I'm wondering if anyone has seen or heard of any place that sells or makes what I'm calling an exhaust cut-off assembly.
