| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 212 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 212 | While replacing my front brake shoes on my 58 I had one of the balls fall out of my front outer bearing. I thought no big deal until I got to the parts counter. Finally advance auto ordered one for me and when it arrived it had a plastic carrier for the balls to ride inside. The bearing was a B 67. Has anyone used this type of bearing and had long lasting results. I'm not at ease with it yet. Can the torque be the same 30 ft. pounds as the all metal bearings? It's in and I moved the truck around the yard but have not road tested it yet. | | |
