Yes my truck is still original 6 volt and I will keep it this way. I haven't touched the switch until now, except for putting the ceramic tube back when it fell out (more than once
).
I will unmount the switch and check for function and the fuse holder tomorrow. Maybe I can then also figure out how the ceramic was initially fixed to the resistor. If not, I will look if I can bend the resistor wire enough to prevent the tube from slipping out, since I have no other idea what else to do.
