Houston54, I am sure you mean a 175 psi compressor.
But anyway, when looking at compressors, forget psi and horsepower. Those numbers are all worthless. Interesting how most compressors have psi and horsepower promintly displayed, but CFM is hidden. And it is CFM that is important, and you probably need about 20 CFM to do sandblasting. Which is usually a 2 stage compressor running on 220 volts. And also expensive.
