It's a 270 bore with a 248 crankshaft. He's using 270 rings, and all the bearings are the same as the other GMC inline engines. He's concerned with whether a cast iron or a steel gear will be required, assuming the 235 distributor has the right dimensions to plug into the GMC block. I think (not sure) a 235 fuel pump should bolt on and work OK, but that's easy to figure out.
