I posted the same basic message as yours last month (1-21-03) and received some really helpful responses from folks on this forum. You may want to scroll back through the forum pages and read what folks wrote there. I was looking to do the same swap, only my vehicle is a 1935 1 1/2 ton. I've pretty much decided after learning the details of making such a swap to stick with the 206. Best of luck with your project.
