Then it was painted over with the interior color. http://community.webshots.com/photo/483681592/2962068700080243953BtFQCm It seems to make the metal thicker and might cut down on road noise and heat (once we get it back on the road). I like it and it seems that nobody will see it once all the parts covering it are installed.
