I spoke to a fellow that has a Line-X franchise in Lawrence about shooting the inside of my '66 K10. I have the cab striped to repair the kicks, inner rockers and floor pans. I want to shoot it from the top of the firewall under the dash, down the kick panels, the floor pan and up the back of the cab to the bump-out right below the window. I am also going to shoot the flat surface of the rocker panels at the door sill, due to the wear and abuse from getting in and out of the truck.
The Line-X will provide rust protection, vapor barrier, sound deadening and a slight amount of insulation value, not to mention it will look cool up under the dash instead of the black cardboard fire wall cover and behind the fuel tank instead of unpainted interior. What do you think.
