I'm trying all your suggestions and it's working like a charm. I had tried using my angle grinder with 60g paper, if one second in a spot is good then two seconds is better right. I had a small heat warp to fix so I put the andle grinder back in the tool box. Now I,m using my 5" with a wire wheel then the 4.5" with a multiple angle layer sanding disc. I wet sand with soapy water and a scotch brite followed by the DA sander wet a couple of times and it shines like a mirror. Then I acid treat it to stop the rust from coming back. I guess kept trying to you get it right. Thanks a lot guys, it takes 5-6 minutes per sq foot, before it was 45-60 minutes and still had rust marks. Anybody think I should spot putty as I go or prime first, the little dings and scratches show up real good now. Again Thanks.
