So I cut the passenger side outer cab corner on my 57 3100 and discovered there is an inner cab corner as well. Since most of the metal was rotted anyway I just pulled the two apart from each other, ordered new inner cab corners and am now looking at a much more involved process than I expected. This may seem like a silly question but this is my first attempt at restoration, how does one remove the inner cab corner? Are there spot welds that have to be ground off? Do I just cut with a cut-off wheel the section that needs to be replaced? Do I remove the entire inner cab corner and if so, how? I get to do the drivers side after I finish the passenger side and then I have the lower front fender patches to do on both sides. I used to be able to ask my dad about matters like this but he has been gone some 15 years now so I must ask my fellow 'bolters. Thank you for any guidance.
